Epeus sumatranus ♂
This Epeus is distinguished from others by its generally yellow body, with faint lighter lines on the abdomen dorsally. The ocular area is golden in both sexes. In the male, there is a short crest of brown upright hairs in the ocular area, whose lateral borders are surrounded by whitish hairs. The legs of the males can be darkly coloured on one or both lateral sides, and topped with iridescent scales on the dorsal side. The degree of such leg darkening may vary with individuals. This jumper measures about 15mm with leg spans.
Pancorius petoti ♀
Pancorius is a spider genus of the Salticidae family (jumping spiders). This genus is similar to Hyllus. These spiders are distributed throughout southern Asia, with one palaearctic species (P. crassipes). I found this female jumper in nearby botanical garden. This female jumper measures about 10mm.
