Hyllus is a genus of the spider family Salticidae (jumping spiders). Most species occur in Africa and Madagascar, many in Australasia up to India. H. insularis is found in Greece and Iran; however, it is considered misplaced in this genus. I found this male Hyllus sp. on his web home at flowers foliage in Bukit Tinggi, Pahang. This Hyllus sp. ♂ measures about 20mm legspan, one of the biggest jumper I ever found.
