Also known as fighting spider, this is the iridescent "fighting spider" that Malaysian children are familiar with. The male body and legs have scales that tend to be metallic blue in coloration while the same parts in the females assume a sheen in metallic green. I found this male jumper on my shoulder while taking photos in a big hall full of crowd from the event that occurs in my university :P (what a strange place to find one). It measures about 8mm.

The big hall that I mention earlier, I was on the red arrow up in the photos. After I realise there is a jumping spider on my shoulder, I quickly went outside and find some empty container for the jumping spider. Soon after the event is done, I get back to my office, take couple of shots of the jumping spider and then release it to foliage outside my office...:P
