Viciria praemandibularis ♂ (Selangor)

A sexually dimorphic species whose males appear superficially like a scorpion with long, spiny and dark-coloured legs 1. The male chelicerae are strongly developed and divergent (spread out). The females are attractively coloured as shown in the picture. I found the female jumper on foliage in nearby recreational forest. it measures about 15mm with leg spans. This jumper also known as Wide-Jawed Viciria.
