Myrmarachne malayana ♂ (Selangor)

Also known as Malayan Ant Jumper, this is a common black ant mimic, recognised in the field by its short abdomen, a pale-coloured crescent on the dorsal carapace behind the eyes, a patch of white hairs on each of the lateral sides of the carapace, and a ring of white hairs around the anterior one-third of the abdomen. This male ant jumper measures about 6mm.

On this red leaves Cordyline terminalis plant where I found the Myrmarachne malayana ♂ in nearby botanical garden.
