Thiania bhamoensis ♀ (Selangor)

Also known as fighting spider, this is the iridescent "fighting spider" that Malaysian children are familiar with. The male body and legs have scales that tend to be metallic blue in coloration while the same parts in the females assume a sheen in metallic green. I found this female jumper on foliage in nearby recreational forest. It measures about 5mm.
