This is a flat and squat spider with long setae (hairs) and iridescent scales on the legs and cephalothorax. I found this jumper on banana tree just behind my in-laws house. This male jaws are particularly elongated and are equipped with a spur. This jumper measures about 5mm. This jumper also known as Mangrove Jumper or Cookie Jumper because of its broad cephalothorax is remarkably flattened and bears a resemblance to a chocolate-chip cookie. :P

I found the male, here on banana tree, on the dry part of banana leaf to be exact.
